Vintage fairy

This is a card I made for a challenge where you should create a vintage card with a cute stamp. I used one of the digis: Älva-Freja på mage kikar upp.
I also put a hug on the card (you can't get to many of them...): Kram

Here's a close-up on the cute Freja.I put her on foam pads and the wings are covered in glitter and crackle accent.

Enjoy the evening // Monica

Easel card

Around the easel cards with grass, sky and a happy bumblebee. Has stamped with the stamp strån i rad and chalked the background. The bumblebee colored with promarkers pen and mounted with 3D pads. Glitter glue on the wings. The text of Be Happy, I have used stickers to.

Little froggy...

We were celebrating my sister-in-law's fiancé's birthday a while ago, and I made this little box containing a couple of movie theater tickets. A couple of months ago, the biggest movie theater in Sweden for 3D-movies opened here, in little Nyköping!

I don't usually create using these colours, but sometimes it's nice to do something different. Even Håkan, whom the gift was for, commented on it! ;)

I used Stämpelkällan stamps for this of course, the frog (S25), the text-background stamp (T22) and the swirly frame (S101)! The swirly frame is part of the new release that has just arrived! Did you know that we also sell digis now? So if you're from overseas or just a fan of digis, check them out here!

I made a tag to write the greeting on, also with the little froggy. Used Copics to colour the frog and the frame; G07, G14 and YG23.

Thank you for looking, I hope you enjoyed this. :)

Easter is almost here!

And the new release from Stämpelkällan has arrived!!! Hop on over into the shop to take a look at the news...

I have a challenge going to make 100 projects before my next shopping spree. This is my number five and isn't it a sweet looking little bunny? I coloured it using my Copics of course, but I forgot to make a note of which ones... I used C-3 and C-1 and the blender, I know that!

Cherry blossoms, roses, gypsophilias and asters... All from Wild orchid crafts, as are the stamens.

A little close up of the bunny. The banner has also been released in rubber (without the sentiment) together with the rest of the stamps.

Tuesday tip by Elli

Hi again!

Today I am going to show you how to make your own flower using a heart shaped punch.
My punch makes a heart that is quite long and narrow, but if you have a punch that makes more "round" hearts that works aswell. Maybe you just need to make them overlap eachother a bit or not use as many.

This is what you need:

Scraps of two different papers (cardstock or designpaper does not matter)
Heart shaped punch
Scissor
Glue
Chalk
One bigger brad

Punch out 8 hearts of one color and 4 of the other color

Chalk the edges

You need a round piece of paper as a base to glue the hearts on. If you have a round punch thats perfect, but if you dont, do what I did and make a circle with the help of something round and cut it out :)

Put glue on the circle and begin to attach 4 of the 8 hearts opposite to eachother

Then attach the 4 of the other color on top, like in the picture

The 4 remaining hearts I cut a bit smaller

Then attach them in the middle (Oops sorry about my finger there lol! Noticed that just now :)

Make a hole for the brad

Done! Maybe you need to "bend up" each heart a bit so the flower isnt all flat

This is a card I made and decorated with this kind of flower (not the one in the pictures above though :)
The stamp I used is Vera som surpricedam

I hope you try this out if you have a heart punch!

Have a nice day

And here is the card I made based on the sketch:

It is a card for my dad who has his 65th birthday tomorrow and who also retires from his job as a carpenter.

Project of the week

Hi!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend so far. Today we show you what we been fiddling with for the last few weeks. The theme was recycling so me and the other ladies have had a blast figuring out what we can use that we would normally throw away to make something fun from. It makes you think twice before throwing something away again :)

Here is what we came up with, hope you enjoy!

I used my empty rolls that the double sided tape been on,

Put two together and rapped it all in paper, made a little lid for it and presto! :) I made a piggybank :) The stamps I have used are called
Tag with swirls, clock background and swirl with flower to the left. The clock background and swirl with flower to the left is a bit hard to see but they are stamped directly on the design paper with a light pink ink. You can hint it on the second picture from the top.

Jaana used an empty milk carton t make a tea light holder she also used the stamp swirl with flower to the left.

Bili made a jar to keep your mint pastilles, medication or something else that is small, Earrings maybe? She used an empty tea light casing (the big size) as the base of the jar, the stamps she used for this is corner swirl and heart with leafs.

Maiden recycled an aluminum can, put it through the cuttlebut with an embossing folder, after that she coloured it with alcoinks and made a great card. The stamp she used is called text grattis i vimplar.

Stempeltigger took an empty chips box and dressed it up so it can be used as a gift box for example. The stamps she used is called:
Straw in a row
Swirl with flower to the right
Pirate girl
Clock with hands
Clock with wings

I hope you are inspired to use some unusual things yourself before you throw them away :)

You Complete Me

Good morning everyone.  This is my last post as Guest Designer here at Stämpelkällan, and my oh my, did the months fly by.  I've really enjoyed playing with their delightful stamps, and today I have a special card that I made for my husband's birthday.

I've stamped the Clock Background (S24) and the sentiment You Complete Me (T102) on the front of the card, and then I've made a lovely embellishment with the Butterfly (GA61).  Here I have heat embossed with gold embossing powder, coloured it in with my new TH distress stains, then added a few gems for a bit more sparkle.  You will note that I've added an interesting edge to the card with the MS Crown punch and a touch of DI.  The leaves were made with the Vines die set, from Whimsy Stamps while the flowers are from my stash.

Next for the inside, where I've used the stamp (T70) with the heartwarming word's from 'Annie's Song'.  It fit perfectly in the Nestibilities Labels 18 die, and a little DI gives it a nice finishing touch.

I do hope you've enjoyed my projects over the past 3 months, and had a chance to check out all of the wonderful stamps available in the store.  There is plenty there to catch your fancy, and a new release will be out shortly!  Happy crafting!

Easter

Easter is coming and I have created an Easter card. I have used three new stamps that are on their way from the printers. The stamps have no name right now, but it's the adorable rabbit on the egg and the circular frame, together with the text.
Don´t forget to look out for the new stamps that will appear in the webshop soon.

Hugs Tesa

Newcomer

I just wanted to say hi, here I am. Mikaela is my name and I have been privileged to join the design team and together with the other creative team members inspire you all and be inspired by you. I love stamps and their possibility of variation! You will see a lot of color and texture from me but also sweet and simple. But it's not just me who is a newcomer, because in the near future some wonderfully, fresh, delicious stamps will be released. So keep the money in your wallet because I can promise you that you want them! here is sneakpeek of one of them!!!! adorable isn't it?
