Veckans skiss/Sketch of the week

Hej!

Denna veckan är det min tur att inspirera er med en skiss,
så här ser den ut.

This week it's my turn to inspire you all with a sketch,

and this is what it looks like.

På det kort jag själv gjort efter skissen har jag använt den supercharmiga hönan Agda, som jag målat med tombows.

On the card I made using the sketch, I used the very charming stamp "Agda the hen", ans coloured it with Tombows.

Det skulle vara så kul att se vad ni skapar för något efter min skiss. Därför har jag en liten tävling i min blogg, där priset blir en stämpel från Stämpelkällan.

It would be very fun to see what you make using my sketch, so I'll be having a little challenge on my own blog, and the prize will be a stamp from Stämpelkällan.

Project of the Week - Flower decorations

The theme of the week is, as the heading states;  flower decorations!

And that was a theme that we all interpreted very differently... :)

Let's start with Benita who made a sort of gift basket for some crocuses. She has used the stamp called "Gladiolus".

Let's move on to MiaT. For her seed box she's used "Vilma vattnar" and the sentiment "Love grows".

Next in line is Bing. She and a friend was making cement pots, and she decorated one of them with an easter stamp ("hen- and chicken race") and then used chicken wire to complete the look.

 

Nettan took the words literally and made a flower decoration. She also went with the easter feeling and used "Vera on a broomstick" and the sentiment "Glad Påsk" (which means "Happy Easter in swedish").

And that leaves me, San. I made a pot girdle and I used a whole bunch of stamps. Well, three anyway... I used "Blomsterkrans", "Blomma med spröt" and the sentiment "Du gör mig glad" ("You make me happy" in swedish).

Stamp of the week!

It's friday again and the means it's time for the "Stamp of the Week"! This week we have used "Three hearts with leaves", and if you want to add this to you collection, you can either buy it here, OR leave a comment for a chance to win it! We will draw one winner sometime during sunday, so you'll have until then to leave us a nice comment.

Five of us has been hard at work bringing you different samples of what to do with this stamp.

We'll start with Mia, who has used it as an accent stamp together with "Vilma floating on a cloud".

Then there's Bing who's made two cards with the stamp as main image:

And Nettan, who also used it as a main image:

Benita has pulled out all the stops and made this fabulous box...

And then there's me left, San. I made a card using the stamp to make a background and for the main image I used this stamp.

Vilma's growing love...

I've used one of the new stamps from Stämpelkällan to make this twisting easel card. This is one of those cards that get made just because it's so fun to make them... :)

I've used brown cardstock froom Bazill and one of the Maja Design papers from the "Ska vi fika"-collection. I chalked all the edges with a brown distress ink pad and coloured Vilma with Copics of course. I actually tried to colour her with pens and solvent first, but I made such a mess of it I tossed the image. I've completely forgotten how to use it!!! But then again, I haven't used anything else than my Copics since I bought them last summer, so why change that now? Love them!!! :D

And this is how a twisting easel card looks unfolded... Oh right, I used one of the new sentiments from Stämpelkällan on the inside, this one means "I like you". I usually never use flowers on the inside of cards, I just get annoyed when they don't close properly, however easel cards are different... The need something to hold them in place, don't they?

Jag har gjort ett kort med ett par av de nya stämplarna som jag gärna vill passa på att visa er idag. Motivet "Vilma vattnar" har jag klippt ut och satt i bakgrunden.
På den mittersta delen av kortet finns den passande texten.
