Skogskort

Hösten - en härlig årstid, så mycket färger. På det här kortet har jag maskat motiven, färglagt med promarkerpenna och sedan distressat bakgrunden. Det stora lövet är stämplat på ett mönsterpapper och sedan utklippt. Texten embossat i vitt.

Övriga stämplar är kantarell mindre, kantarell, stubbe och sten.

Small cards

At Svensk Scrapbooking one of the monthly challenges is to make small cards, not larger than 10*10cm.
I decided to make a couple of Christmas-cards with some of the new stamps. I also found a nice paper: the backside of a magazine =) Perfect for Christmas I think -light blue with snowflakes and white trees!
The pictures are painted with Distress refills and put on 3D-cushions.

Another homemade flower

This is one of my favourites at the moment: so easy to make! Not my own idea I have to admit, I've found it on the web.
Here we go, then.
You start by cutting a strip 30cm long and 4 or 4,5cm wide.


Then you take a very thin tape and attach the sides to each other as shown. Don't press the folding at the top, just leave it as it is.

Next step is to clip thin strips starting from the "folding-side", leave about half a cm unclipped.

Here comes the squishy part: roll it together and attach it with glue all the way.

Now it's supposed to look something like this! Here you can see that the folding is at the top.

Now you shape it by bending out all the little strips.

Two readymade flowers: the left one is 4,5cm wide at the start, the right one is 4cm wide. I also put stickles on the top of the strips even if it doesn't show very well, not at all actually =)

Sketch to inspire

Hello everyone!
My turn to supply you with a sketch. This time it's a simple one that leaves a lot of space for your own construction. Hope you like it!


Here comes a card made from the sketch. I've put a lot of different stamps directly to the cardstock instead of using a patterned paper. Don't know if you see it very well, but a fun way to vary a bit I think =)
This is what I used for the background: Klängrankehörne, Tag med swirlar, Text med ros and Swirl med blomma åt höger.
The cute little dragon that is one of Sans pictures, you'll find it HERE!

Here comes a closer pic at the dragon. I've coloured it with copics and put some glitter and crackle-paint on the tiny wings. Wonder if he really can fly?!
